Senior Financial Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Analyst, IT Finance in the Miami, FL area.

Overview:
The Senior Analyst, IT Finance is responsible for providing financial analytics for the IT department, including forecasting, modeling, and reporting. This position is responsible for establishing and providing oversight to budgeting, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment, and development of mitigation plans. This role collaborates with Finance, Sourcing, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Global Supplier Maintenance, Tax, Legal and HR in addition to IT leaders. This role manages IT Financials for OpEx, CapEx and/or Labor with typical annual budget of ~$100m+. This role may provide guidance to more junior financial analysts and work across various areas of the budget.

Essential Functions:
Financial Planning & Analytics:
* Manage financial planning by collaborating with IT Leaders and Finance to develop, analyze, and create the annual plan and forecasts
* Responsible for ensuring deadlines are met with quality data
* Provides complex analysis for variances of forecasts, publishes updates, and ensures issues are addressed
* Provide financial support/coordination, analytical guidance, and recommendations to cost center owners
* Manage monthly accruals and reclasses as needed
* Reconcile actuals
* Conduct monthly reconciliation of actuals with the latest forecast and provide expense trending and variance explanation of ongoing cost as well as new initiatives to Finance and IT Leadership
* Ensure IT meets financial deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or Master's degree Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of IT Financial analysis experience, with emphasis on statistical and financial analysis
* 5+ years of extracting and analyzing large data sets from multiple source systems
* 3+ years of Participating in cross-functional technology teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
