Description

SAIC is looking for an experienced Business Analyst Sr. to join our team at the DOI.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and analyze business needs.
Establish and develop relationships between customer and stakeholders
Research and summarize federal and organizational policies related to data management and data governance
Review, write, and edit technical documentation and organizational policy
Define and develop business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics
Facilitate or lead discussions or workshops to identify areas of improvement, business needs, insights and validate findings
Analyze current state processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions to optimize workflows
Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations to communicate policies and workflows
Ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Strong technical writing
Ability to synthesize and distill complex information
Ability to effectively communicate business information with a diverse audience
Strong PowerPoint skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments
Proactive in identifying issues or recommending improvements
Understanding of organizational structures and organizational change management
Experience with IT systems, GIS systems, Geospatial data environments, and data analysis, is preferred
Experience supporting data governance initiatives and data platform operations, is preferred

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Strong technical writing

Ability to manage multiple assignments
Proactive in identifying issues or recommending improvements
Understanding of organizational structures and organizational change management

Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
