IT Applications Delivery Manager

As an IT Applications Delivery Manager, your primary responsibilities are to provide thought leadership, analysis, transforming, modeling, mentoring, delivery, and product ownership for applications. You will be working closely with your business partner in understanding their needs and designing IT solutions that fit their needs. You will ensure the designed solutions are architecturally sound and are maintainable. You will collaborate with other product owners, leads, and architects on current and future strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product owner on the business side in defining product strategy, establishing roadmaps, and prioritization of user stories
• Actively engage in project delivery using Agile principles in collaboration with the project team and business PO
• Closely collaborate with the delivery team regarding current and future solutions and assists in ensuring optimal solutions are delivered
• Guide your team with the transformation of the existing monolith solution to a state that is nimble and compliant with DevSecOps principles
• Actively participate in requirements analysis, proof of concepts, RFI & RFP processes, project funding, and solution design and delivery
• Drive progress towards technology target roadmaps
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and development team to produce architecture artifacts like logical architecture, configuration architecture, data architecture, and deployment/physical architecture views as part of the solution
• Create and help promote patterns/techniques to foster DevOps adoption
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize efforts to meet expectations

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in leading large-scale enterprise transformations from legacy, on-premise monolithic architectures to modern, domain-driven microservices architectures on AWS cloud platform
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development, including at least 5 years in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with modern technology stacks, including React, Node.js, Java EE, Spring Framework, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• AWS certification(s) strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented design principles and enterprise application architecture, including Java EE/Spring, Microservices, SOA, and Web Services
• Experience working with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (e.g., modern MVC or component-based frameworks) and building scalable front-end applications
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture patterns, including scalability, resilience, and security best practices
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards such as SOX, PCI-DSS, PII, and CCPA, with experience implementing secure and compliant systems
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, with a focus on Agile product development practices

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field
