Systems Analyst – ID3 Policy Administration System

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst / Business Systems Analyst with hands-on ID3 Policy Administration System experience and a strong understanding of Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Annuity products. The ideal candidate will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into functional solutions while supporting system enhancements, testing, and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder discussions and workshops.
• Support the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the ID3 Policy Administration System.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and system documentation.
• Support policy administration processes across Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Annuities, underwriting, new business, claims, policy servicing, and billing.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for system enhancements, product changes, and regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with development teams to define solutions and troubleshoot production issues.
• Support system upgrades, data conversions, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Develop test scenarios, execute functional testing, coordinate UAT, and manage defect resolution.
• Validate system functionality against business requirements and support release management.
• Maintain business requirements documents, process maps, data mappings, and system documentation.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Insurance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with the ID3 Policy Administration System is required.
• Strong knowledge of Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Annuity products.
• Experience gathering requirements and preparing functional and technical specifications.
• Experience with system enhancements, configuration support, testing, implementation, and production support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
