Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr
Job Overview:
The organization is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support enterprise database operations. The role requires availability during business hours, execution of changes during off-hours maintenance windows, and participation in an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and tune Oracle databases (12c/19c+) across production and non-production environments.
- Manage backup/recovery (RMAN), high availability (Data Guard, RAC), and patching/upgrades.
- Execute changes during off-hours maintenance windows.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and incident/root-cause resolution.
- Support application teams with schema changes, refreshes, and release activities.
- Maintain security, access controls, and audit compliance.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, and performance tuning expertise.
- MySQL administration experience preferred.
- Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience is a plus.
