Description
We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide critical technical support to ensure smooth operations for end users across various systems and platforms. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and grow within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide hardware support by installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Assist users with software-related issues across platforms like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, and campus-specific applications.
Offer immediate troubleshooting assistance for classroom technology, including audiovisual equipment and video conferencing tools.
Manage user accounts by handling password resets, multi-factor authentication setups, and onboarding processes.
Maintain accurate records of hardware assets and software licenses to ensure effective inventory management.
Develop user-friendly documentation and deliver basic training sessions to enhance digital literacy across the organization.
Respond to service desk tickets promptly, diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Support basic networking tasks, including Wi-Fi troubleshooting and foundational setup.
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and reliable IT support for all users.
Requirements
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
Solid understanding of Windows 10/11, macOS, and basic networking principles.
Proficiency in tools such as Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office 365.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical users.
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 lbs and navigate multi-building facilities.
Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals.
Previous experience in a customer-facing or educational environment is a plus.
Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and troubleshooting classroom technology.
