Help Desk Analyst

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support and resolving system-related issues for end-users. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for ensuring smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities:
Provide timely and effective technical support to resolve hardware, software, and system issues.
Manage and maintain Active Directory accounts, ensuring proper access and security settings.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to Microsoft Windows 10 and other operating systems.
Respond to service desk tickets promptly, documenting resolutions and escalating issues when necessary.
Assist end-users with basic troubleshooting and provide guidance on system usage.
Collaborate with IT teams to identify recurring issues and implement solutions.
Maintain accurate records of technical support activities and updates.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while addressing IT-related concerns.
Test and deploy software updates and patches as needed.
Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance user satisfaction and productivity.

Requirements

Proficiency in Active Directory management and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and other Windows operating systems.
Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues effectively.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and workflows.
Excellent communication skills to interact with users and team members.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and problem resolution.
Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
