Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Distributed systems & microservices architecture
API design, integration, and orchestration
Rules engine (Drools) + rules extraction/translation
Reverse engineering legacy systems (e.g., mainframe/Smalltalk)
Insurance domain (rating, underwriting, policy lifecycle)
Cloud-native development (Azure, AKS, CI/CD)
Frontend awareness (Angular)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead squad for end-to-end delivery (design ? deploy)
Own integration architecture (rating engines, APIs, queues)
Drive rules extraction ? transformation ? implementation
Ensure scalability, resilience, and performance
Collaborate with business for rating/underwriting logic
Guide devs, enforce coding standards, review design/code
