About the Role

We're seeking a Digital Solutions & Audit Technology Lead to define and scale a modern audit technology ecosystem. In this role, you'll drive the strategy and implementation of data, analytics, automation, and AI capabilities that enhance audit execution, risk insights, and continuous monitoring. You'll partner closely with senior leadership to translate complex technology into practical, scalable solutions that elevate the audit function.
What You'll Do
Build the Digital Solutions Ecosystem
  • Design and implement the digital operating model for audit technology, including analytics platforms, AI capabilities, and continuous monitoring frameworks
  • Establish governance, intake, prioritization, and performance metrics across digital initiatives
  • Integrate platforms such as AuditBoard (Optro), Databricks, and other data sources into a cohesive ecosystem
  • Develop scalable workflows that support audit execution and real-time risk intelligence
  • Implement a tiered delivery model balancing self-service analytics with centralized expertise
  • Ensure solutions are reproducible, documented, and aligned with IIA Standards and QAIP requirements
Drive Analytics, Automation & AI
  • Identify and deliver high-impact analytics and AI use cases (e.g., anomaly detection, control testing automation, risk sensing)
  • Build continuous auditing and monitoring capabilities with actionable dashboards
  • Create governed "gold datasets" and automate data ingestion, validation, and reporting pipelines
  • Establish standards for quality control, versioning, and documentation of analytics and AI solutions
Lead Adoption & Capability Building
  • Partner with IPP and audit leadership to translate technical strategies into actionable roadmaps
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and capabilities across audit teams
  • Develop training programs, playbooks, and enablement materials
  • Collaborate with PMO and Change Management teams to ensure successful rollout and sustained adoption
What Makes You Successful

You combine deep audit expertise with strong technical fluency in data, analytics, and AI. You're a systems thinker who can design scalable solutions while influencing stakeholders across a complex, regulated environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience building or scaling audit analytics or digital solutions functions
  • 5+ years in a leadership or senior advisory role
  • Experience designing digital strategies for internal audit, risk, or compliance functions
  • Hands-on experience with audit platforms (e.g., AuditBoard/Optro) and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
  • Proven track record delivering automation or AI solutions in regulated environments
  • Strong ability to partner with senior stakeholders and drive execution in matrixed organizations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of audit methodology and IIA Standards
  • Ability to translate risk and control requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience with data governance, AI governance, and automation frameworks
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills
  • Experience designing scalable, sustainable enterprise solutions
Education & Certifications (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, AI, or a related field
  • Certifications such as CIA, CISA, CRISC, CPA, or relevant data/analytics credentials
