Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Technology Lead / Mobile Solutions Architect to architect, design, and deliver enterprise-grade mobile applications using hybrid and native mobile technologies. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across mobile development squads, define architecture standards, and ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Mobile Application Architecture using Ionic Framework, Capacitor, and Swift for hybrid and native mobile development.
- Define mobile engineering standards, coding guidelines, and architectural best practices.
- Drive technical decisions related to Performance, Security, Scalability, and Maintainability of enterprise mobile platforms.
- Perform hands-on development and code reviews for Angular / AngularJS-based Mobile Applications.
- Design and implement Capacitor Native Plugins for device integrations including camera, biometrics, storage, and push notifications.
- Integrate mobile applications with Backend APIs, Third-Party SDKs, and Enterprise Services.
- Ensure compliance with App Store / Play Store Guidelines, accessibility standards, and enterprise security policies.
- Mentor mobile developers across hybrid and native stacks and lead sprint planning, release management, and backlog grooming.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD Pipelines, and performance optimization for mobile application releases.
- Monitor production issues, support app lifecycle management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Mobile Application Development / Architecture.
- Strong expertise in Ionic Framework for enterprise-scale hybrid mobile development.
- Hands-on experience with Capacitor including native bridge, plugin development, and device integration.
- Proficiency in Angular / AngularJS for mobile UI development and state management.
- Strong native iOS development experience with Swift.
- Experience with Android Native Development using Kotlin / Java.
- Expertise in Mobile CI/CD Tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise, Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Mobile Security Standards including OWASP Mobile Top 10.
- Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Biometrics, Secure Storage, Encryption, Certificate Pinning.
- Familiarity with App Store / Play Store Release Processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Credit Union, or Regulated Industry Domains.
- Background in Digital Banking, Payments, or Customer-Facing Mobile Platforms.
