Technical Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical analysis of existing as-built network and Webex infrastructure.
• Conduct feasibility studies for network and AV solutions.
• Gather and define business, functional, and technical requirements for Cisco Webex infrastructure and related systems.
• Develop data models, process models, and prototypes to support solution design.
• Create conceptual and detailed network, security, and infrastructure architecture designs.
• Develop detailed specifications, implementation plans, and COTS integration strategies.
• Install, configure, integrate, and test IT infrastructure components and systems.
• Provide system support and transition knowledge to operations and maintenance teams.
• Develop technical documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Perform product and system research and evaluation.
• Collaborate with senior architects to ensure alignment with enterprise technology strategy.
• Review technical deliverables from developers and third-party vendors.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Assist with issue identification, risk management, and mitigation planning.
• Support development and review of project management and technical documentation.
• Execute tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of distributed computing architectures including N-tier, client/server, and internet/intranet technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, including WPA2 security, firewalls, unified communications, voice/data networks, and video conferencing systems.
• Experience implementing enterprise networks using both COTS and custom solutions.
• Experience supporting business process reengineering through technical solutions.
• Proven ability to act as liaison between business and technical teams.
• Experience performing technical impact analysis and developing assessment tools.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Experience developing and reviewing technical requirements, designs, and implementation plans.
• Technical lead experience on large, complex IT infrastructure or automation projects.
• Professional certification such as CCNP, CCIE, Cisco Specialist, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in network and infrastructure engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cisco Webex infrastructure and unified communications platforms.
• Strong background in large-scale enterprise network and AV implementations.
• Proven ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
