We are seeking an Onsite VMI Technician – Inventory & Lab Support to support laboratory inventory operations in a regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in inventory management, laboratory support, procurement, and materials handling.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inventory of laboratory consumables, chemicals, samples, and production materials.
Receive, store, distribute, and track inventory accurately.
Perform cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Process purchase orders, procurement requests, and invoice reconciliation.
Handle hazardous materials and shipping documentation in compliance with regulations.
Analyze inventory reports and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
Support laboratory operations while following SOPs and GMP requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in Inventory Control, Materials Management, Procurement, Warehouse, or Laboratory Operations
Experience working in laboratory, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, or GMP environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP, VWR+, ChemSW, Citrix, or similar platforms
Knowledge of inventory control principles and material handling best practices
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid Driver''''''''s License and reliable transportation
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
