Required Skills & Experience
13+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Design, configure, and implement Health & Safety workflows Personal Injury (PI) and Recordable Environmental Incident (REI) using OOB ServiceNow features
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and OOB configuration (Flow Designer, Forms, Catalog Items, Tables, ACLs, Notifications, etc.).
Proficiency in servicenow scripting (javascript, glidescript).
Experience with servicenow development, including business rules, client scripts, ui policies, ui actions, script includes, and acls.
Expert knowledge and expertise of integration techniques such as rest, soap, and jdbc.
Experience with integration tools like mid server and integration hub.
Ability to design and implement complex integrations with other systems.
Understanding of cmdb (configuration management database) and csdm (common service data model).
Experience with itom (it operations management) modules like discovery, event management, service mapping, and orchestration.
Experience in building custom applications using servicenow's application platform.
Proficiency in html, css, and angularjs for service portal and ui customization
Knowledge of performance tuning, optimization, and best practices for scalable solutions.
Ability to align servicenow solutions with business goals and it strategy.
Experience in creating roadmaps, governance frameworks, and best practices.
Experience with OOB modules (e.g., ITSM, HR, or Risk modules).
Ability to work closely with business users to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Familiarity with Health, Safety, or Risk Management processes
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow CSA or CAD certification
- Railroad domain background experience
- Experience customizing Incident or Case Management workflows
