Job Description- Network Engineer (HP Aruba) 

Role Overview

We are seeking a Network Engineer with expertise in HP Aruba networking solutions to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Aruba switches, wireless solutions, network security, and LAN/WAN environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot HP Aruba network infrastructure.
• Maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network security environments.
• Deploy and support Aruba switches, wireless access points, and controllers.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration backups.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, and wireless issues.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure stable and secure network operations.
• Implement VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and network segmentation policies.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Aruba Networks
  • Aruba switches and wireless controllers
  • WLAN and enterprise networking
• Strong understanding of:
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Routing and switching protocols
  • VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP
  • Network security fundamentals
• Experience with firewall and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of enterprise Wi-Fi design and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aruba certifications such as:
  • Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA)
  • Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA)
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or other networking technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud-managed networking solutions.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting for network management.
• Experience in large enterprise or multi-site environments.
