Job Title: Salesforce Tech Lead

Location: Charlotte, NC East Durham, NC Chicago, IL

Type: Contract

Desirable Skills: Salesforce Development and Technical Design Salesforce Administration and Functional Design Project Management

Experience Required: 10 & Above

Experience Requirements

Overall IT experience: 10 12 years

Salesforce experience: 8+ years of hands-on development

Strong experience working in onsite offshore delivery models

Prior experience in enterprise-scale transformation programs preferred

Experience in Life Sciences Healthcare Regulated environments

Experience managing team and working closely with client Director-level

Technical Leadership responsibilities

Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, SOQL, and Flows

Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce security model

Proven experience in Salesforce integrations (RESTSOAP APIs, middleware)

Experience with DevOps tools, CICD, and release management

Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer III, Application Architect, or System Architect preferred

Strong understanding of AgileScrum delivery models

Skills Requirements

Required (Must-Have)

Hands-on Salesforce development expertise: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, SOQL, Flows

Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configuration and customization (objects, fields, record types, validation rules, automation)

Salesforce security model: profilespermission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, FLS, Shieldmonitoring concepts

Integration experience: RESTSOAP APIs, OAuth, platform events, middleware patterns, error handling and retries

DevOpsCI-CD and release management: source control, branching strategy, automated deployments, environment management

Solution design and technical leadership: translate requirements into scalable designs, conduct designcode reviews

AgileScrum delivery: estimation, sprint planning, backlog grooming, iterative delivery with offshore teams

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

Salesforce certifications (one or more): Platform Developer III, Application Architect, System Architect

Experience with regulatedvalidated environments (Life SciencesHealthcare), including documentation and audit readiness

Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Field Service (as applicable)

Data migration and ETL tools strong understanding of data quality, deduplication, and reconciliation

Hands-on performance tuning (SOQL selectivity, async patterns, governor limits, LWC performance)

Exposure to enterprise architecture standards and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft or comparable)

Job Description

The Onsite Salesforce Tech Lead will serve as the primary technical owner of the Salesforce

platform, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and offshore

development teams. This role requires strong hands-on Salesforce expertise, architectural

understanding, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce

solutions while ensuring delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the technical lead and single point of contact for Salesforce application delivery onsite

Design, develop, and review Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom implementations

Provide technical guidance to offshore development teams and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices

Lead requirement discussions, solution design workshops, and technical walkthroughs with business stakeholders

Own end-to-end delivery including design, development, code reviews, deployment, and post-go-live support

Ensure code quality, performance optimization, security, and scalability of Salesforce solutions

Manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools

Support release planning, environment strategy, and CICD pipelines

Identify risks, dependencies, and technical challenges early and propose mitigation plans
