The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates has been retained by a premier technology development and equipment manufacturing firm in Southwest Montana to identify a talented Mechanical Engineer. Located on-site in Butte, MT, this position offers an exceptional intersection of career advancement and lifestyle, situated just over two hours from historic Yellowstone National Park and Big Sky ski resort.

In this role, you will play an integral part in conceptualizing, building, and delivering advanced industrial processing and mixing systems distributed globally. Partnering directly with StaffRight Associates, you will step into a dynamic, fast-paced setting designed to foster long-term professional growth while engineering commercial technologies that solve real-world industrial challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect comprehensive mechanical designs, specialized components, and complete system assemblies from preliminary concept through final production.

  • Drive computational analysis and simulation testing to validate structural integrity and performance parameters across all product lines.

  • Champion innovative solutions within cross-functional teams to expand next-generation hardware capabilities for global markets.

  • Synthesize core principles of manufacturability to streamline production workflows, reduce material overhead, and enhance product reliability.

  • Maximize operational efficiency by iteratively refining physical prototypes into scalable, commercial-ready technology solutions.

What You Bring

  • Earned Bachelor Of Science In Mechanical Engineering or Master Of Science In Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise utilizing Solidworks for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.

  • Core functional experience leveraging Cad and Cae software for design and simulation tasks.

  • Proven technical aptitude in Product Design, Product Development, and Machine Design.

  • Direct familiarity applying Design For Manufacturing methodologies within dynamic production environments.

  • Possession of 1 to 5 years of relevant engineering background.

  • Verified U.S. Citizenship (required due to program operational guidelines).

  • Full commitment to working 100% on-site in Butte, MT.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 annually (commensurate with background and experience).

  • Bonus Structure: 5% annual target performance bonus.

  • Profit Sharing: Direct participation in corporate profit-sharing programs.

  • Relocation Package: Full relocation assistance provided for nationwide applicants.
