Job Description
Provide day-to-day local and remote desktop support.
Handle inbound calls, troubleshoot hardware/software/application issues, and document resolutions in ticketing systems.
Deliver Break/Fix support, fault diagnosis, and resolution across core operating systems and approved applications.
Ensure operational consistency across shifts and escalate issues when needed.
Mentor Band 1 technicians and assist Band 3 engineers in ticket resolution.
Responsibilities & Functions
First/second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
Collaborate with third-party vendors for complex AV issues.
Communicate timely updates on issue status and resolution.
Maintain ticket updates for all incidents.
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, MS Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized applications.
Provide basic support for Mac OS users.
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
Perform preventative maintenance and remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, and printers.
Use diagnostic tools for network connectivity and workstation troubleshooting.
Broad IT exposure: networks, servers, audio/visual, smart devices, telecoms.
Work in project-based environments requiring flexibility and teamwork.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or higher.
Minimum 18 months IT experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows 7–10, Active Directory, GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation/troubleshooting, enterprise antivirus, and helpdesk ticketing systems.
Mobile device management (iOS/Android), enterprise encryption, and Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory.
Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet SLAs.
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
Adaptable and flexible in fast-changing environments.
Willingness to work off-hours/weekends for projects or emergencies.
