Position: Desktop Support (2 OPENINGS)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (100% Onsite)

Duration: 3-6+ Month Contract, likely extensions

Pay Rate: $19-23/hr.

MUST HAVES:
  • Authorized to work in the US | Reliable transportation
  • 3-5+ years of Helpdesk/Desktop Support
  • Open to going into the Clinical Engineering field
  • Obtain required immunizations prior to starting
  • A mechanical aptitude is also needed
Role Overview

This hands-on position supports a large healthcare system in Philadelphia, requiring in-person service in a dynamic hospital environment. The role is ideal for candidates interested in long-term growth, particularly with a pathway into Clinical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on desktop and end-user support across various hospital and clinical locations.
  • Support and maintain the enterprise desktop environment, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows OS, enterprise applications, and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Evaluate, test, and apply desktop software updates and patches.
  • Monitor desktop infrastructure performance and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors on technology evaluations and initiatives.
  • Deliver professional and calm support to clinical and non-clinical staff in fast-paced settings.


Technical Skills: A strong understanding of Windows environments, networked computer systems, and basic networking concepts is necessary. The role requires strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous IT experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • A strong interest in transitioning into Clinical Engineering long-term.
  • Relevant certifications such as A+ or Network+.
