Summary

We are looking for Oracle Cloud Global Trade Management (GTM) Functional Consultant responsible for ongoing support. You will act as a primary subject matter expert, bridging the gap between business trade requirements and technical system configurations.

Senior Oracle Cloud Global Transportation Management (GTM) Functional SME
Location: Bay Area, CA (Hybrid: Onsite + Remote)
Employment Type: Contract – 6 Months
Experience Level: Senior / Subject Matter Expert
Work Model: Hybrid Role

Onsite presence required in Pleasanton, CA (as defined by project phase).
Remote flexibility during non-critical implementation phases.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Cloud Global Transportation Management (GTM) implementations.

Lead end-to-end GTM implementations including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Conduct business process workshops and translate requirements into scalable GTM solutions.
Configure GTM modules including:
- Trade compliance management
- Restricted party screening
- License management
- Customs management
- Global classification
- Transportation planning & execution

Design and document functional specifications, BRDs, FDDs, and solution design documents.
Collaborate with technical teams for integrations (ERP, WMS, Our Client, 3PL systems).
Support data migration, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide best practices guidance aligned with Oracle Cloud capabilities.
Mentor junior consultants and client stakeholders.
Support cutover planning, hypercare, and optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Oracle Transportation / Trade Management solutions.
2+ full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Cloud GTM.
Strong functional expertise in:
- Global trade compliance
- Transportation management
- Import/export regulations
- Supply chain logistics processes
Experience integrating GTM with:
- Oracle ERP Cloud
- Warehouse Management Systems
- Third-party logistics platforms
Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work hybrid (onsite in BayArea, CA as required).
