RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in Saint Louis, MO.
Responsibilities:
* Scrum Master will guide Agile teams through sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
* Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize team backlogs
* Assist with story development, estimation, sprint capacity, and delivery planning
* Identify and resolve blockers, dependencies, and delivery risks
* Coordinate defect resolution and operational priorities
* As a Scrum Master, you will track team progress and communicate key metrics and updates to stakeholders
* Encourage team ownership, Agile best practices, and ongoing process improvement
* Use AI-enabled tools to draft stories, acceptance criteria, meeting recaps, and project updates
* Monitor work items for delays, aging issues, and potential sprint carryover
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-4 years of experience in Scrum, Agile delivery, project management, product management, product engineering, or a related role
* Experience with backlog management, user stories, estimation, and team planning
* Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and sprint-based delivery
* Strong facilitation, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working with delivery metrics, dependencies, and competing priorities
* Familiarity with Jira or similar work management tools
* Ability to leverage AI tools to support documentation, reporting, and Agile workflows
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
