AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced NOC Shift Lead Network Operations to join our growing team. Step into a critical leadership role at the heart of our 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) supporting a client in the financial services space. As a Shift Lead and Technical Mentor, you ll guide Level 2 engineers, drive operational excellence, and ensure the resilience of enterprise-class networks across multi-vendor environments. Job Responsibilities
- Lead & Mentor: Act as the technical authority for NOC L1 and L2 engineers, providing escalation support, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive strategies.
- Own the Shift: Serve as the shift lead for a 24/7 NOC, ensuring infrastructure uptime and performance through proactive monitoring and incident management.
- Drive Standards: Develop, enforce, and optimize SOPs aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with L1, L3, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless operations.
- Champion Projects: Lead network improvement initiatives, migrations, and new deployments.
- Maintain Precision: Keep documentation, diagrams, and inventory accurate and up to date.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and SLA compliance.
- Hands-On Expertise: Troubleshoot and support LAN/WAN, VLANs, Firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Wireless, and cloud networks (AWS, Azure).
- Configure & Optimize: Work with SD-WAN, Cisco Catalyst 9300, Cisco FTD/Palo Alto firewalls, Infoblox, Azure networking and F5 load balancers.
- Secure the Network: Implement security policies (VPNs, ACLs, firewall rules) and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Ensure Resilience: Support Disaster Recovery and automated health checks for network availability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 6+ years in network administration, troubleshooting, and support.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor peers.
- Technical Depth: Strong knowledge of routing, and switching solutions.
- Hands-On Skills: Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, Meraki MX, Azure firewalls, F5 LTM, Catalyst SD-WAN, Catalyst Center.
- Tools & Platforms: Infoblox DDI, AWS/Azure networking, and monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, NetBrain, ThousandEyes and Wireshark.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, documentation, and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Automation experience (Ansible, Python, Terraform).
- Exposure to QoS
Education Required
- Bachelor s in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Certifications: CCNA (required), CCNP (preferred), plus relevant vendor/networking certs.
