Summary

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to design, build, and scale high-quality software systems that power missioncritical products. In this role, you will work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver reliable, performant, and maintainable solutions while mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.

Location : Warren NJ

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing architecture decisions, and contributing beyond just code.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Python
  • Lead technical design discussions and contribute to system architecture decisions
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver endtoend solutions
  • Mentor junior and midlevel engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
  • Drive improvements in code quality, tooling, CI/CD, and engineering processes
  • Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot production issues when needed

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 plus years of professional software engineering experience, with strong focus on Python
  • Deep understanding of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms - Azure
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architectures
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration
  • Exposure to event-driven systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
  • Experience working in high-scale, production environments
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading engineers
