Job Description

The Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in employee benefits programs and HR technology platforms. This role will lead cross-functional initiatives related to benefits administration and HR system implementations, acting as a key liaison between HR, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of Life, Disability, and related employee benefits, along with hands-on experience managing projects within UKG, ADP, Workday, or similar HR platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for benefits administration and HR platform initiatives

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and status reports

• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT teams, and external vendors

• Manage projects involving Life, Disability, and other employee benefit programs

• Oversee HR system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and data migrations

• Identify project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and milestone delivery

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements gathering sessions, and UAT

• Ensure compliance with HR policies, benefits regulations, and data security standards

• Drive process improvements and automation within HR systems

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in HR, Benefits, or HRIS environments

• Strong knowledge of employee benefits, particularly Life and Disability

• Hands-on experience with UKG, ADP, Workday, or similar HR platforms

• Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors

• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading HR system implementations or large-scale enhancements

• Background working with payroll and benefits administration systems

• PMP, CSM, or similar project management certification
