Job Title: EPIC Applications Analyst (Beacon/Research)

Client: Novant Health
Location: Remote (Must reside in approved states)
Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: ASAP

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced EPIC Applications Analyst (Beacon/Research) to support and enhance clinical research and oncology workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in EPIC Beacon and Research modules, with the ability to contribute immediately to build, implementation, and support activities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and support EPIC Beacon and Research applications.
Develop and maintain:
- Oncology treatment plans
- Therapy plans and order sets
- SmartSets, SmartForms, and research-specific workflows
Support clinical research configurations, including inclusion/exclusion criteria for studies.
Manage integration between CTMS systems (e.g., OnCore) and EPIC.
Troubleshoot interfaces and resolve system issues related to research workflows.
Perform system testing and ensure quality before production deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, research, and IT stakeholders.
Provide documentation, training, and user support for system functionality.
Participate in build activities such as RSH records, BPA/EPA configurations, and interface enhancements.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

EPIC Certification in Beacon and Research (both required)
Minimum 3+ years of EPIC Applications Analyst experience
Strong experience with clinical research workflows (NOT billing)
Hands-on experience in EPIC build, configuration, and support
Knowledge of:
- Oncology workflows
- Order sets, SmartSets, SmartForms
- Interface troubleshooting and integrations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
