IT Systems Analyst

Job Overview
We are hiring a versatile IT Systems Analyst to design, implement, and integrate technology solutions across the organization. In this role, you will act as a project manager for a variety of IT led initiatives aimed at modernizing and digitizing business processes - from evaluating solution options to scoping and driving projects that enhance information protection, reporting systems, and operational efficiency.
A major focus of this position is supporting ongoing efforts to centralize data from multiple systems into a unified data warehouse, ensuring departments have access to accurate, timely, and actionable information. You will also support the implementation of new software across the business and contribute to improving system workflows and data models.
Because the organization relies heavily on Microsoft 365, this role partners closely with leaders across corporate and field locations to enable secure, efficient, and effective use of platforms such as SharePoint and Teams.
What you'll do in this role
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems and needs into technical solutions
- Document workflows, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain system workflows, data models, and interfaces
- Create and maintain detailed specifications for developers and engineers
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation
- Recommend and implement improvements using technology
- Evaluate the technical and financial viability of proposed solutions
- Provide guidance on decisions to build, buy, or customize software
- Act as a liaison between business units, developers, and IT teams
- Ensure technical solutions align with business goals
- Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and quality assurance
- Ensure the final product meets the original requirements
- Create user manuals, system documentation, and training materials
- Support administrators and users during rollout and adoption

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX 78748.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr.
