Role: Application Support Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Role Description:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet business and technical requirements.
This role requires strong technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions.
You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and support.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with application frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, React).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) .
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) .
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills , Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code .
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with software testing and debugging .
- Proficiency with support tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira)
Nice-to-have Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) .
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices .
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with mobile application development
