Quality Assurance Tech

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Quality Assurance Tech III in Seattle, WA.

Summary:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites. QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.

Duties Include:
* Managing a simple spread sheet-based schedule (what feature am I working on, or next feature being worked on)
* Involve engagement with product manager to understand the behavior they are expecting with the feature
* Work with engineering team to test that the behavior delivered is meeting needs of what is specified
* Helping with testing automation: test and retest features - skills in terms of automating and make it more efficient
* Searching for curiosity on how to make things better

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* 4+ years of industry experience testing software, including website applications
* Basic ability to do general QA skill set (create a test plan, communication ability to interact with engineering/product manager)
* Test planning/Execution
* Script/limited program ability
* Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle
* Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
* Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java, and SQL is desired, but not required
* Experience with Selenium highly desired

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
