Job Title: Senior QA Lead

About the Role
Talent Groups is seeking a Senior QA Lead to support a major data engineering and analytics initiative. This is a highly hands on role with 85 to 90 percent focused on backend data testing, including ETL and ELT testing, data validation, data quality, and reconciliation.
This is not a UI focused QA role. Strong SQL and Snowflake experience are required.
Responsibilities
• Lead QA activities for data engineering and analytics projects
• Develop and execute test plans for data pipelines and platforms
• Perform ETL and ELT testing and backend data validation
• Validate data transformations, business rules, and data integrity
• Develop source to target reconciliation for data migrations
• Perform data quality testing across large datasets
• Write SQL queries to validate data and investigate discrepancies
• Support test automation using Snowflake and other tools
• Perform root cause analysis and defect resolution
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior QA resources
Required Experience
• 7+ years of QA, data warehouse, ETL, or data quality testing experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Significant Snowflake experience
• Strong ETL and ELT testing experience
• Data migration and source to target reconciliation experience
• Experience validating data transformations and business rules
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• QA leadership or mentoring experience
• Agile and Scrum experience

• Python and PyTest
• Snowflake Data Quality Monitoring and Data Metric Functions
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD
• Data quality frameworks and monitoring
• Power BI or reporting validation
