Job Title: Encompass Developer / Workflow Specialist
Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities

Encompass Platform Expertise

  • 9+ years of hands-on experience with ICE Encompass LOS
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end mortgage origination workflows
  • Experience with Encompass Web and SmartClient
  • Support across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments
  • Manage Encompass releases, patches, and upgrades

Workflow Design & Optimization (Core Focus)

  • Design and implement complex loan workflows
  • Task-Based Workflow (TBW) configuration and rollout
  • Milestone orchestration and stage gating
  • Enhanced Conditions standardization
  • Exception handling and escalation logic
  • Role-based workflows for LO, Processor, Underwriter, Closer, and Funder

Business Rules & Automation

  • Advanced configuration of Encompass Business Rules Engine
  • Conditional logic, calculations, triggers, and validations
  • Automation of manual processes and data entry
  • Eligibility, readiness, and compliance-driven rules

SDK & API Integrations

  • Strong experience with Encompass SDK (C#/.NET)
  • Hands-on experience with Encompass Partner Connect (EPC) REST APIs
  • Event-driven integrations and webhooks
  • API security, authentication, and error handling
  • Experience with SDK-to-API migration

Third-Party Integrations

  • Credit, income, asset, VOE, flood, AVM, and document preparation services
  • Data mapping, validation, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting

Data & Reporting

  • Experience with Encompass Data Connect and Reporting Database
  • Strong SQL skills for reporting and analysis
  • Workflow performance metrics and root-cause analysis
