Senior IT Project Coordinator

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Senior IT Project Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will oversee project activities, ensuring effective coordination and execution across various teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a proven track record in managing construction-related projects and document workflows.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate project activities and schedules to ensure timely completion of objectives.

Facilitate communication between teams, stakeholders, and vendors to maintain alignment on project goals.

Oversee document coding processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.

Utilize Relativity and other tools to manage project documentation effectively.

Monitor the progress of construction-related projects and resolve any issues that arise.

Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management.

Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.

Ensure all project activities adhere to established guidelines and industry best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in IT or construction-related projects.
Proficiency with Relativity software and document coding processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
Experience working with construction projects or similar environments.
Analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
