Senior Middleware & Cloud Applications Administrator
(AI Integration / Power Platform / Azure)
Our client is seeking a Senior Middleware & Cloud Applications Administrator to join their enterprise technology team in Central North Dallas. This is a hybrid full-time opportunity supporting mission-critical applications, middleware platforms, cloud environments, automation initiatives, and emerging AI integrations.
This role is ideal for a senior-level technical professional with strong middleware administration experience combined with modern cloud, scripting, automation, and AI integration capabilities. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing enterprise application environments while supporting operational stability, security, compliance, and scalability initiatives.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Due to client requirements, this position is limited to U.S. Citizens and s eligible to obtain the appropriate clearance.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, patch, and support enterprise application environments and middleware platforms
- Manage transport and deployment activities across multiple application landscapes
- Support middleware technologies including IBM MQ/Broker and related integration tools
- Administer Microsoft Power Platform and Azure environments
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Linux shell scripting
- Support AI application development and integration initiatives
- Administer enterprise job scheduling tools such as UC4/Automic
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability to proactively prevent outages and degradation
- Research, recommend, and implement new technologies and process improvements
- Support SOX compliance initiatives, segregation of duties controls, and security best practices
- Conduct backup, recovery, and recoverability testing activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Mentor and support junior technical staff and team members
- Participate in multiple concurrent projects and collaborate across technical teams
Required Qualifications
- 8 12+ years of overall IT infrastructure, middleware, or applications administration experience
- Strong experience administering middleware technologies such as IBM MQ and/or IBM Broker
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform administration
- Experience supporting Azure cloud environments
- Strong scripting and automation experience using:
- PowerShell
- Python
- Linux/Unix shell scripting
- Experience supporting or integrating AI applications and related technologies
- Experience administering enterprise scheduling tools such as UC4/Automic
- Experience supporting Java-based applications and environments including:
- Experience with SQL development and troubleshooting using SQL Server and/or Oracle
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred Experience
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) tools and security integrations
- Experience working within SOX-regulated environments
- Cloud architecture and cost optimization knowledge
- Relevant certifications in cloud, middleware, or application administration technologies
