Job Title: Tomcat/Weblogic/Apache Middleware Admin

Location: Irving, TX

Lond Term Contract

Experience: 10+ years

Responsibilities:

Certificate renewal: Send initial communication, create new certificate request for renewal, prepare certificates, change initiation discussion with F5, prepare change request, gather upstream/downstream validation needs/resources, Update validation tasks, implement change, Provide Hypercare, Update validation results and close change, Revoke certificates

Vulnerability patch upgrades: New bundle trial and error on non-prod to develop procedure, Review vulnerabilities, attend vulnerability meetings (address vulnerability concerns), Change initiation discussion with JDE and application teams, prepare change request, gather upstream/downstream validation needs/resources, Update validation tasks, implement change, Provide Hypercare, Update validation results and close change

Health check: Manually validate supported web sites are up, if site is down open an incident and engage application teams, Update validation URLs as applications are migrated

Migrations: Acquire license for products (Tomcat, Domino, Vice Versa), Work with Application Architect to design a solution, Perform installations, Assist development team with application migration, Perform initial deployments and fix issues, Participate in production planning, Build production environment (prepare, schedule and implement change), Coordinate or assist in production cutover planning, Participate in production cutover, Cross train team on change made to the environment

Application Deployments: Acknowledge application deployment task assignment, acquire artifacts for deployment, Review artifacts before deployment, compare new deployment code with existing deployment code, Review changes, perform application deployment, perform server restarts, perform validations, Perform health check (logs)

System Maintenance: Clean up file system, resolve access issues, Review system and application log files, Resolve system problems

File Transfer: Review file transfer jobs logs, maintain file transfer jobs using normal change, Update account password using normal change, Work with application teams in determining file transfer issues

Incidents: Perform troubleshooting, determine workarounds and solutions, Initiate/resolve problem tickets, Prepare and close emergency changes, Monitor Teams channels for reported issues, assist application teams in resolving issues, Participate in meetings and channel discussions

Service request: Respond to queries, Adhoc work

Runner support: Perform validation as soon as an alert is received, Quarterly address refresh normal changes, Software upgrade, monitor performance using Dynatrace

Performance management: Install Dynatrace/Windows Performance Monitor, monitor application using Dynatrace/Windows Performance Monitor, Perform performance assessment on request

Batch support: Review schedules, diagnose batch problems, Restart batch jobs if required

Automated application restarts: Windows services

Password Rotation: Engage with application teams, Search configuration for passwords, aid in determining effort to change password, Participate in modifying passwords

User Management: Add users to Domino, Respond/Assist to SOX audits, diagnose user routing problems leading to access failure

Centralized log management: Support file transfer jobs, Diagnose sync issues

Vendor support: Acquire access to Vendor support sites, Open, monitor and close tickets, Coordinate application support, Assist in renewing contracts

Product Install/Upgrades: Coordinate with application and platform team, assist in performing installation, Post installation configuration
