IT Sourcing /Procurement Consultant

The role is within the Sourcing and Supplier Management Team, requiring independent leadership in sourcing strategy development and execution. You will assist customers in addressing IT business challenges, leading the sourcing process from creating solicitation documents to evaluating proposals and executing negotiation strategies.

This position involves managing customer expectations through effective communication and conducting post-project reviews to ensure knowledge transfer and satisfaction. You will handle a variety of sourcing projects, including complex IT contracts, from initial requests to contract execution.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing complex sourcing projects, particularly in IT contracts.
• Exhibiting the ability to multitask and work with all levels of staff.
• Providing superior customer service and exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Required Skills:

• Manage complex work efforts - 8 months of experience required.
• Deep industry experience in Procurement and Supplier Management - 8 years required.
• Experience with contract and vendor negotiation - 8 years required.
• Technical writing - 8 years required.
• Requirements gathering - 8 years required.
• Knowledge of VA Public Procurement Laws - 5 years desired.
