Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage tasks and aspects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. This role is based in the vibrant city of Richmond, VA, offering a blend of historical charm and modern amenities.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop project charter and work plan, tracking budget and schedule progress via appropriate metrics.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute standard project management artifacts such as risk assessments and communication plans.
• Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Manage projects within the larger procurement and project management governance processes.
• Provide requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation as needed.
• Create and implement a communication plan to inform relevant staff of upcoming deadlines and deliverables.
• Identify, track, and resolve risks/issues and remove barriers.
• Perform financial and administrative functions to ensure successful project execution.
• Prepare financial or budget plans and allocate resources in collaboration with the planning and finance department.
• Provide detailed reports to stakeholders and agency management regarding project status and expenditures.
• Facilitate project conference calls, status meetings, and planning sessions, providing meeting notes.
• Consult with stakeholders and communicate project status throughout the project lifecycle.
