Role Overview
A position is available for a Software Development Engineer to provide first-level support and development for production software application issues. This role involves developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting and debugging code, and implementing fixes. The work will directly impact the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop monitoring solutions for production software applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and implement fixes for internally developed code (Java, Typescript).
- Improve systems for gathering metrics on software features.
- Update, track, and resolve technical challenges.
- Work alongside development on corporate software projects.
- Enhance current software and automate support processes.
- Document systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree is required.
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in a software development environment is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java and Typescript is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of HTML.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $60.00 per hour. Specific benefits packages will be discussed during the hiring process.
