JOB DESCRIPTION:       

The SAP IBP Consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions, with a primary focus on Time Series Supply Planning and Demand Planning. This role involves configuring planning areas, optimizing supply planning processes, analyzing system outputs, and ensuring high performance of IBP solutions. The consultant will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to design, enhance, and maintain planning models and data structures that improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP IBP Time Series Supply Planning, including optimizer setup, execution, and monitoring.
• Perform cost modeling of key figures and analyze planning outputs to support decision-making.
• Troubleshoot and clearly explain optimizer results and planning outcomes to business stakeholders.
• Optimize performance of IBP planning runs and overall system processes.
• Design and configure planning areas, key figures, and planning levels.
• Set up, manage, and maintain master data while conducting detailed data analysis.
• Implement and support SAP IBP Demand Planning processes.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and enhance planning accuracy.
• Provide functional expertise and ongoing system support for IBP modules.
• Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
• Expertise in Time Series Supply Planning Optimizer.
• Experience in cost modeling, key figure configuration, and planning area setup.
• In-depth knowledge of planning levels, master data configuration, and data analysis.
• Experience supporting IBP Demand Planning processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and clearly communicate system results.
• Experience in performance tuning of IBP optimizer runs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills to engage with business stakeholders.
