React Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a React Developer in Madison, WI.

Overview:
The client is seeking a React Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of modern, user-focused web applications that serve both internal teams and member-facing experiences. This role will work closely with product, UX, and backend engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions within a regulated financial services environment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience building applications with React and modern JavaScript frameworks, along with some exposure to C#/.NET for backend integration and collaboration.

Responsibilities:
* React Developer will develop and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
* Collaborate with UX designers and product owners to translate designs and requirements into intuitive user experiences
* Integrate front-end components with backend services and APIs, including systems built in C#/.NET
* Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end and integration issues across environments
* As a React Developer, you will contribute to improving front-end architecture, component reuse, and development standards
* Work within an Agile/Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
* Ensure applications meet accessibility, security, and compliance expectations common in financial services

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4+ years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack web development
* Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
* Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
* Experience working in Agile development environments
* Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD workflows
* Exposure to C#/.NET environments (ability to read code, collaborate with backend teams, or make light updates)
* Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
