Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Support and maintain compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and applicable aerospace/defense quality standards.
2. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) related to internal nonconformances and customer issues.
3. Support internal, customer, and third-party audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up actions.
4. Collaborate with production, engineering, and lab teams to improve process capability, yield, and first-pass quality.
5. Analyze quality data and trends to identify systemic issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Work closely with aerospace or defense customers and high-compliance manufacturing teams to ensure that our products meet or exceed their expectations.
7. Manage and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure that quality issues are addressed effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role, preferably in the aerospace or defense industries.
3. Demonstrated expertise in AS9100, NADCAP, and other relevant quality standards.
4. Proven ability to lead root cause analysis (RCCA) and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
5. Experience in supporting internal, customer, and third-party audits.
6. Strong analytical skills, with a track record of using quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement.
7. Experience in working with aerospace or defense customers and high-compliance manufacturing environments is preferred.
8. Solid knowledge of CAPA processes.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to collaboration and problem-solving.
