Job Summary

The Senior Program Manager at HCL will be responsible for the overall program management, applying Agile methodology to drive successful project delivery. The role involves overseeing multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and leading cross functional teams to achieve project objectives efficiently.


Job Description


1. Data Governance & Strategic Leadership Framework Development: Define, align, and maintain enterprise-wide data governance policies, standards, and ownership models.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and internal data handling policies.Metadata Management: Build and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, and data lineage maps.

2. Data Quality & TQM (Total Quality Management) TQM Implementation: Apply TQM principles to data processes, implementing continuous improvement to reduce data defects by 60 70%.Quality Controls: Establish, monitor, and report on data quality metrics (e.g., accuracy, consistency, completeness) and set up remediation plans.

3. Data Observability & Monitoring Proactive Monitoring: Implement data observability tools to track freshness, distribution, and volume anomalies in real-time.Automated Lineage: Utilize observability to map data lineage and impact analysis automatically across ingestion and consumption layers.Incident Management: Respond to data quality anomalies proactively, reducing downtime and operational risks.




Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement program management strategies to ensure successful delivery of projects
2. Utilize agile methodology to manage projects, facilitate scrum meetings, and drive continuous improvement
3. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans to ensure project timelines are met
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
5. Lead and mentor project managers and teams to enhance performance and meet project milestones
6. Conduct regular project reviews and report on project status to senior management
7. Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration within the project teams
8. Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and compliance requirements in project execution
9. Continuously assess and improve project management processes to optimize efficiency and delivery quality


Skill Requirements

1. Proven experience in program management with a focus on delivering complex projects
2. In-depth knowledge and practical experience in agile methodology and frameworks (scrum, kanban, etc.)
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders at all levels
5. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to address project challenges effectively
6. Proficiency in project management tools and software for planning, tracking, and reporting
7. Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
