Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Appian BPM Developer with strong design and development experience on the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building scalable business process applications and will collaborate closely with global business and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable workflows using the Appian BPM platform
  • Design, develop, and implement Appian applications end-to-end
  • Create and maintain SAIL interfaces, expression rules, process models, CDTs, records, sites, and reports
  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems using web services, APIs, and database integrations
  • Develop and optimize Appian Records, Reports, DB Views, and Stored Procedures
  • Implement Appian best practices related to process design, security, groups, decision tables, and data management
  • Collaborate with business users, architects, and global technical teams to understand system requirements
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing Appian applications
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to development standards
  • Work independently as a contributor or collaboratively as part of a team


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing applications using the Appian BPM platform
  • Appian Level 1 or Level 2 Certification (Preferred)
  • Strong experience with:
    • SAIL development and complex UI design
    • Expression rules and process models
    • CDTs, Records, Reports, and Sites
    • Appian integrations with external systems
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Appian groups, security models, and role-based access
    • Decision tables and process orchestration
    • Appian and database performance best practices
  • Strong database skills including SQL, DB views, and stored procedures
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with global teams


Nice to Have
  • Experience working in financial services or enterprise environments
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or Appian deployment automation
