Summary

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain clinical and business interfaces within Epic and other healthcare applications.
Support data conversion initiatives, ensuring accurate and efficient migration of data between systems.
Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize interfaces using industry-standard integration tools.
Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and validation activities across various testing phases.
Provide ongoing production support, including interface monitoring, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
Maintain system documentation, interface specifications, and build documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and system enhancements.
Mentor junior team members and promote integration best practices.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards for system configuration, change management, and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications

Epic Bridges Certification (Required).
7+ years of experience in interface engineering and development within healthcare environments.
5+ years of hands-on experience with the Rhapsody Interface Engine.
Strong experience with HL7 messaging, healthcare interoperability, and interface troubleshooting.
Experience designing, developing, and supporting healthcare system integrations.
Proven experience with interface testing, implementation, and production support.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
