responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities - Development (80%)
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules using JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, and other platform tools.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow forms, workflows, client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.
- Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Build and maintain REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Ensure code and solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, including upgrade and scalability considerations.
- Collaborate with QA for testing and deployment in lower environments before production rollout.
Secondary Responsibilities - Systems Analysis (20%)- Work with business stakeholders to capture and document functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes to recommend improvements or automation using ServiceNow.
- Translate business requirements into actionable stories and technical specifications.
- Assist in user training, documentation, and support for deployed features and improvements.
- Support release planning and coordination across teams as needed.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Proven understanding of ServiceNow architecture and development best practices.
Experience with HRSD ServiceNow module is a bonus.
Experience with technologies: JavaScript, REST, HTML, CSS, Jira, Angular.
Familiarity with systems analysis, business process modeling, and requirements gathering.
Good to have ServiceNow Certifications.
