Advanced Tableau Developer/Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Lead the design and development of Tableau solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualization to meet the business requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for improved performance and user experience.
• Architecture and Strategy: Work with the various product areas to understand and develop Tableau architecture and strategy, defining best practices for reusability and standards to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data sources (EDW, Snowflake etc) into Tableau, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, solution engineers, and data analysts, to understand their requirements and provide strategic insights through data visualization.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Tableau solutions, including design specifications and user guides.
• Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features and industry best practices, and incorporate them into the organization's Tableau strategy.
• User Training and Support: Provide Tableau training to end-users, support teams, and other stakeholders to enhance self-service capabilities.
• Data Governance: Implement and enforce data governance policies, data security, data fencing & report security, and compliance within Tableau solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7-9 years of experience in Tableau development, architecture, and administration.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing complex large scale Tableau solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Tableau certification is a plus.
• Experience with other data visualization tools is a bonus.
