Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Governance Analyst with experience in data governance, data quality management, and Java-based application development. The role involves supporting data governance initiatives, implementing data retention policies, and developing scalable Java micro services and APIs within a cloud environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Implement and manage record retention and data deletion policies in compliance with organizational standards.
· Support data governance initiatives, including metadata management, data lineage, and data quality monitoring.
· Develop and maintain data quality rules, validations, and reporting frameworks.
· Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
· Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise systems.
· Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Support enterprise application migration and deployment on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
· Ensure software security best practices and system performance monitoring.
· Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.
· Apply SQL, Python, and data modeling concepts to support data management and governance processes.
