Position Summary
Business Analyst position within Digital Platform Technology to help deliver new features and enhancements for Institutional Retirement, Edge and Wealth Management client facing platforms. Must have excellent analytical skills and at least 5 - 7 years of experience as a Technical Business analyst, working closely with business and technology partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solutio.n
Serves as the ultimate facilitator between Business and IT in truly understanding the business's needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle. Using proven methods and tools, this position leads the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating and managing of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning & support - in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups. This position may also be called upon to fulfil some Scrum Master responsibilities of facilitating scrum ceremonies based on changing demands
Responsibilities
The agile analyst will work with IT and the Business to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
Responsible for combining business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Required Qualifications
Experience in Agile methodology
Working experience in Agile tools such as JIRA
Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to communicate and work with Developers to ensure that acceptance criteria for the user stories are understood and applied
Ability to communicate and work with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts satisfy the requirements
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to facilitate discussions
Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision
Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to analyze existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities
Facilitate team routines such as the daily stand-up, sprint reviews, product demos, and Feature/Story grooming.

Experience with financial sector
Some development experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4-year experience in related field.
