ReconNET Technical & Functional Specialist

Client is seeking experienced professionals who can independently manage ReconNET operations and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end technical and functional support for the Trintech ReconNET application.
• Manage reconciliation of retail POS sales transactions, credit/debit card settlements, cash transactions, and bank deposits.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched transactions, deposit discrepancies, settlement variances, and reconciliation exceptions.
• Configure and maintain reconciliation rules, matching logic, workflows, and exception-handling processes.
• Troubleshoot application issues, data integration failures, and reconciliation processing errors.
• Support enhancements, automation initiatives, and reconciliation process improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Retail Operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reconciliation.
• Support production operations, root-cause analysis, and resolution of critical incidents.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on technical and functional experience with Trintech ReconNET.
• Expertise in retail sales reconciliation and bank deposit reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of POS transactions, payment processing, and bank settlement processes.
• Experience configuring reconciliation rules, matching logic, and exception management.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with application integrations, batch processing, and financial data interfaces.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex reconciliation issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience supporting ReconNET in a large-scale retail environment.
• Knowledge of retail financial systems, ERP applications, and payment gateways.
• Experience in reconciliation automation and operational improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
