Summary

GovCIO is currently hiring for a GovCIO is currently hiring for a FC Watch Floor/Senior Support Engineer to support our newly awarded contract. This position will be located in the Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities

Leads IT support at the site level, handling escalated tickets and critical system issues
Mentors junior engineers and implements IT best practices
Ensures operational uptime and reliable IT services

Qualifications

High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

6 years experience in IT support
Possesses expert-level IT field support and leadership skills, enabling the management and direction of complex service request fulfillment and network/computer systems administration across multiple operating systems
Demonstrates advanced proficiency in mobile device support, intricate desk-side tasks, and deployment strategies
Possesses the ability to provide comprehensive IT support for TSA airport staff, regional management staff, TSA executives
Exhibits leadership in evaluating service performance, actively managing and documenting tickets, ensuring high-quality resolution, system optimization, and recommending significant changes for overall service delivery
Skilled at applying lessons learned for the refinement of Knowledge Base (KB) articles in support of continuous process improvement
Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking for technology assignments, applies advanced troubleshooting expertise, and demonstrates strong leadership to ensure high-quality resolution and system optimization across multiple tasks

Clearance Required: Must have TSA clearance

Posted Salary Range

USD $82,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
