Location: Remote (Day to day will be remote. Candidate must be within commuting distance to Merrifield, VA or Pensacola, FL for occasional onsite meetings.)

Duration: ~6 Months
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives from concept through delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker who can also execute with precision, balancing Agile and Waterfall methodologies while driving alignment across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, accountable, and skilled at navigating ambiguity to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team projects across Agile and traditional environments
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables aligned to business objectives
- Drive execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Manage backlogs and track delivery metrics using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Serve as the central point of communication for project status, risks, and outcomes
- Mentor team members and promote strong execution practices
Qualifications:- 15+ years of experience managing complex programs within large enterprise or federal environments
- Minimum 5+ years of Agile delivery and 5+ years of Waterfall/project management experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- PMP certification required
- Scrum Master certification (CSM or SAFe SM) required
- Experience supporting enterprise technology or digital delivery initiatives
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $84.00 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
