Software Engineer (Contingent Workforce Assignment)

About the Role

In this contingent role, you will contribute to medium-complexity engineering initiatives and support larger program-level planning. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners, analyze technical challenges, and help deliver high-quality engineering solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable operating in dynamic environments and applying strong problem-solving skills to real-world technical scenarios.
Responsibilities

Participate in the design, development, and delivery of moderately complex software engineering projects.
Analyze engineering challenges, evaluate options, and recommend solutions based on technical and business considerations.
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to meet project requirements, ensuring alignment with policies, processes, and compliance standards.
Contribute to issue resolution by applying engineering best practices and troubleshooting methodologies.
Support planning activities for upcoming engineering deliverables and help drive execution across teams.

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrated through full-time work, consulting engagements, training programs, military experience, or a combination of these.
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, development processes, and compliance considerations.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical partners.
