Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Tanium Endpoint Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions using the Tanium platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in endpoint protection, vulnerability management, incident response, and real-time threat detection across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and manage Tanium modules such as Threat Response, Patch, Asset, Deploy, and Comply
Monitor endpoint activity and respond to security incidents using Tanium s real-time capabilities
Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation using Tanium Patch and Comply modules
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and queries for security visibility and compliance
Integrate Tanium with SIEM tools like Splunk or IBM QRadar
Automate endpoint management tasks including patching, software deployment, and configuration enforcement
Collaborate with SOC, IT, and compliance teams to improve endpoint security posture
Conduct root cause analysis and support incident response activities
Ensure endpoints comply with organizational and regulatory security policies
Provide support for audits and compliance initiatives (e.g., NIST, CIS benchmarks)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with the Tanium platform
Experience in endpoint security
Strong understanding of endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoint environments
Knowledge of vulnerability management and patching processes
Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
Experience with SIEM integrations such as Splunk
Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
